Building More Than Just Race Cars
Welcome to the Parks Racing Team, Saint Louis University’s student-run racing team. We are a group of passionate students from Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology who come together to design, build, and race a competition-ready car. Our team is open to all SLU students, regardless of major, and we welcome anyone who is interested in cars, engineering, and racing. With a focus on hands-on experience and teamwork, we create more than just cars - we build relationships and opportunities that last a lifetime.
Our Club's Action Plan
2023 - 2025
We have spent countless hours to prepare a 2-year long plan for us to complete the build of a new electric vehicle to compete in the SAE race in May 2025! This will be the team's first electric vehicle, which is a huge undertaking and therefore requires the lengthened timeline. We are proud to have an amazing team who worked tirelessly on planning events to inspire and reinforce the knowledge of our new members so that we can meet this goal.
About Us
Making a Difference
Parks Racing is a club hosted by the School of Science and Engineering at Saint Louis University, which was previously named "Parks College". We are a club that competes in a collegiate design competition known as FSAE (Formula – Society of Automotive Engineers). It is an international competition hosting nearly 120 schools at each event. Nearly every single part of our vehicle is designed and built in the team's shop, as this is in the spirit of the competition. Parks Racing places a large emphasis on craftsmanship, in addition to functionality, to ensure that the best possible vehicle is produced.
